New members are always welcome! Our membership year
is January 1 through December 31, with renewals due by
the end of February. Unless otherwise requested, when a
new member application is received after September 30,
the payment is used to pay the dues for the following
year.

Counties. Each edition contains vital statistics;
biographical sketches of early east Texas families;

resource material.

The Bulletin, that highlights Society news, shares
information about upcoming events, and provides notices of
records that have been uploaded to the Internet. |

known speakers with expertise in subjects as varied as
research in southern colonies, researching federal land
records, newspaper genealogy, or writing family histories. |

Monthly programs given by outstanding
speakers from across the state discussing topics of general

are lively, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the
