ETGS began publishing quarterlies
shortly after the society was organized in 1977. A name
index and an articles index for the first 12 volumes are
posted on the ETFR page. Many of the quarterlies are
out-of-print; however, some are available for
purchase. Most of the articles from the out-of-print
quarterlies can be found on the Internet in the various
TXGenWeb County Archives. The quarterlies can also be
found at the Tyler Public Library and most large
libraries in Texas. The Tyler Public Library will copy a
limited number of pages for a fee. The ETGS does not
have facilities to copy articles |
EAST TEXAS RESEARCHERS FOR A FEE
Names, addresses, phone numbers and
email addresses (when available) are shown below for
individuals who have asked to be listed with the East
Texas Genealogical Society as being available for
genealogical research on a fee basis. The request for
the research must be made directly to the individual
researcher, since East Texas Genealogical Society can
assume no responsibility for private research. Also, the
time the researcher may have available and the fee that
may be incurred can only be estimated by the researcher.

available. PLEASE compose your query carefully and
submit on a full-sized page, typed or printed.
CAPITALIZE all surnames and include at least one
date and place. PLEASE DO NOT ABBREVIATE.
