At 11 am on May 3, 2008, the Davis-Reagan chapter of the UDC will dedicate
a grave marker for Pvt. George W. Bars, buried in the Magnolia Cemetery
off of FM 294 near Long Lake.
At 2:30 pm on May 4th the Sons of Confederate Veterans Cross of St.
Andrews Camp, assisted by the Johnson-Sayers-Nettles Camp of the SCV and
the Davis-Reagan chapter of the UDC, will dedicate two grave markers in
Pilgrim Cemetery in Elkhart. The groups will be dedicating markers to
Pvt. Goodson and Sgt. John Parker.
