I am looking for information on the parents of William Fleming CALLAWAY,resident of Hardin County in 1900. He is my great-grandfather, but I don'tknow his father's name. The 1860 census lists a W. J. CALLAWAY with fivechildren, including a W. F. CALLAWAY, in Magnolia, Anderson County. Wouldappreciate any information anyone has on whether this is the same family.

Researching the George Washington LIGHTFOOT and Mardis Levi MILES, surnamesin Anderson, Freestone, Limestone and Van Zandt counties. Ella M. LIGHTFOOTwas my grand-mother. She died in 1960 and is buried in Van Zandt county.Her father was George Washington LIGHTFOOT and her mother is believed tobe Emma MITCHELL. My great-grandfather was Willie W. MILES. He was the sonof Levi Mardis MILES and Virginia Ann BRADHAM. They travelled from NewtonCounty, MS in early 1880's and settled around East Texas counties of Anderson,Freestone, Navarro, and Limestone counties. I am seeking information on theLIGHTFOOT surname. My sources believe that, George Washington LIGHTFOOT wasalso buried in Van Zandt county. Any help with the LIGHTFOOT family wouldbe appreciated.
