Help me with the DOSS family. I'm looking for information on my great-grandfather's family. His name is William Thomas DOSS, believed to be thebrother of Charles DOSS d. 1936 in Anderson Co. TX and a sister Martha Lavada(LaVota) DOSS SULLIVAN also who went to Anderson Co. TX. He maybe had anotherbrother James Luther DOSS b. 1860-62 also went to Anderson Co. TX. He hada child there in 1901. The record of the birth said James Luther was bornin Bartow Co. GA William Thomas DOSS may have been the son of John LemuelDOSS and Tabithan COCHRAN. John was b. about 1824 and maybe the son of JamesDOSS. Azariah DOSS maybe the father of James DOSS.

Looking for info on gggrandparents, John Floyd (sometimes Floyd or J. F.)WOODWARD and Lavinia A. (WADSWORTH) WOODWARD. They were in Palestine, Andersonco. Tx, with their four oldest children for the 1870 U.S. Census. Their fifthchild, Edward Forest was born in Tennessee Colony on Feb. 28, 1873. LaviniaA. WOODWARD reportedly died in her early 40's (approximately 1881-83). Theyounger children remained in Palestine, possibly living with a family namedPEARSON, while their father John F. I am interested in the family of Martin Lee TURNER (b. 1806, GA, d. 1868,TX) and his wife, Harriet HADDOX (b. 1810, SC, d. 1869, TX, dau of RobertHADDOX). They were married 1827 in Wilcox Co., AL and removed to LauderdaleCo., MS in the 1840s and later to Jasper Co., MS. They removed to Texas inthe 1860s and may have settled in ANDERSON County. One daugher, Nancy ElizabethTURNER, married Robert L. HALL of Bowie Co., TX in 1874. Among their childrenwas: Allen, Martin Green, Sarah and others. I am interested in getting in touch with any descendants of Thomas FletcherWARE, who died in Mineral Wells in 1920. He owned a jewelry store in towncalled "Three Way Jewelers." *ROGERS* Looking for information on Jesse William ROGERS he was born Aug6, 1812 in Tennessee. He married Mary G MIDDLETON on Aug 14, 1832. They residedin Chickesaw Co Missippi until relocating to Texas sometime between 1840& 1850...the Travis Co Census of 1850 lists them. Mary died Feb 14, 1883near Lampassas, TX. Jesse died Dec 24, 1903 at Elmtown, north of Palestine,Anderson, Co, TX. Waiting to hear from anyone w/info.

Am searching for any info about Robert Alexander JOHNSON b. 29 Aug 1861 inAr. Married Minnie MEREDITH, dtr. of Washington MEREDITH 22 Jan 1880 in HendersonCo., Tx. Robert's father was Alfred W. JOHNSON and his mother's name wasPermilla or Parmilla, it is impossible to read on the 1870 census. Roberthad a sister named Alabama W. JOHNSON who married A. CONE and had a son namedAdam CONE in 1869. There may have been a brother named Daniel D. JOHNSONalso. Robert and Minnie moved to Emhouse in Navarro Co., Tx. and died therein 1926 and 1929 respectively. Thank you for your time and interest.
