Chester Bell Jr.

Services for Chester "Chuck" Bell Jr., 26, of Palestine, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Bell died Dec. 26 of injuries sustained in a traffic accident,

He attended Palestine schools and was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. He was an oil field worker for a Houston company.

He married Shelia McDonald on March 9, 1984.

He is survived by his father, Chester Bell of Shreveport, La.; mother Mattie Smith of Palestine; his wife of Palestine; daughters, Shelisha Bell and Nacole Bell, both of Palestine; brother, James Arthur Bell of Los Angeles, Calif.; and sisters, Mary Howard and Linda Crawford, both of Tyler, Marilyn Bell of Dallas, and Carolyn Anathony and Karlina Allen, both of Palestine.
